Russia-Serbia-Belarus Slavic Brotherhood 2018 Tactical Drills
The Russian-Serbian-Belarusian Slavic Brotherhood 2018 tactical drills take place at the Rayevsky training ground, Krasnodarsky Krai on June 18-28.
Paratroopers from the three countries will train special warfare of a multinational battalion task group during peacekeeping and counterterrorism missions.
A reinforced battalion of the Kuban Cossack Air Assault Regiment of over 700 troops strong will represent the Russian Federation in the international drills. More than 250 people will represent the Special Forces of Belarus and some 50 servicemen – the Republic of Serbia.
This year, BMD-4M, BTR-MDM Rakushka and 2S25 Sprut-SD which are in service with the Airborne Troops will be involved in the Slavic Brotherhood for the first time.
Deputy Commander of the Russian Airborne Troops on Peacekeeping Operations and the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force Lieutenant General Alexander Vyaznikov will supervise the drills.
