Awarding ceremony among the winners of the contest “Tank biathlon”, “Suvorov onslaught” and “Masters of air defence” took place in Alabino
On the final day of the International Army Games – 2015, an awarding ceremony among the winners of the contest “Tank biathlon”, “Suvorov onslaught” and “Masters of air defence” has taken place in Alabino. The servicemen were awarded by Commander-in-chief of the Land Force Colonel General Oleg Salyukov.
The keys for the new cars parked nearby were awarded to the T-72 tank commander Captain Yevgeny Sokolov, senior sergeant Gennady Teryaev (pointer) and senior sergeant Yevgeny Kharchenko. This crew has become the winner in the nomination “The most coherent crew” of the “Tank biathlon” contest; the servicemen showed a 100 per cent target engagement.
Moreover, representatives of Angola, Venezuela, Kuwait, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Armenia, Tajikistan, India and Kirgizia were awarded in different nominations.
The crew of the infantry fighting vehicle from the Russian Federation – sergeant Yevgeny Zimin (crew leader), sergeant Vladimir Litovchenko (pointer) and private Daniil Khramov (driver) – were awarded UAZ Patriot vehicles in the nomination “For the first place in the Individual race”.
Representatives of Russia – sergeant Alexander Kosygin (crew leader), junior sergeant Dmitry Kubyshkin (pointer) and lance caporal Mikhail Tyurnev (driver) – were awarded Niva cars in the nomination “The best artillery specialist” within the contest “Masters of artillery fire”.
In the nomination “For the certainty and professionalism” within the contest “Masters of air defence”, the Russian crew – sergeant Aleksey Chirkin, junior sergeant Ivan Sadchikov, private Gurim Djioyev and lance caporal Alexander Radke – received four-wheelers . They were awarded by the Chief of the Air Defence Troops of the Land Force Lieutenant General Alexander Leonov.
