In the course of the last three days, aircraft of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic have performed 137 combat sorties engaging 448 terrorist objects in the Aleppo, Damascus, Idlib, Lattakia, Raqqah, Hama and Homs provinces.
In the course of the recent days, the intensiveness of the combat sorties of the Russian air group in Syria remains below the usual level. However, the number of engaged targets per one sortie has increased.
That is connected with the fact that a number of aircraft of the air group have been uncovering and conducting reconnaissance of terrorist objects upon the data received from representatives of the Syrian opposition, the Information centre in Baghdad and the Command of the Syrian governmental troops.
It is to be reminded that the Russian warplanes carry out airstrikes only after the data on the engaged objects has been checked through several channels and they have been identified as belonging to the terrorist groupings.
The Russian Ministry of Defence confirms significant changes in the tactics of the terrorists all over the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Illegal armed groups are acting not as impudently as they did a month ago. Today terrorists are trying to conduct maneuverable defensive hiding from the strikes of the Syrian governmental troops and the Russian aviation.
The routes of delivery of armament are constantly changing. The deliveries are carried out mainly at night with observation of all elements of camouflaging.
Near Kafer Nbuda (Hama province), a strike was made against a workshop used for repairing of armoured vehicles of the Jabhat al-Nusra. The airstrike of a Su-24M bomber eliminated a hangar with 4 tanks and 1 infantry fighting vehicle.

The object had been arranged in the course of the last three weeks as well as well-camouflaged. The command center coordinated terrorists’ actions at the Idlib-Aleppo direction. After additional reconnaissance of the object by means of unmanned aerial vehicles, a Su-34 aircraft made a strike with a guided bomb KAB-500. As a result, the object was destroyed with all its contents.
In suburbs of Raqqah city, a Su-34 bomber destroyed two ISIS ammunition storages. Objective monitoring registered explosions at the objects, which caused their complete destruction.
Near Mahin (Homs province), the aviation carried out a strike against a large-sized weapon and ammunition depot of the Jabhat al-Nusra grouping. Militants stored small arms, large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, and ammunition in two hangars. These weapons were reserved for militants arrived in Syria from abroad. It is to be mentioned that the information on this object was obtained from representatives of the Syrian opposition. Objective monitoring data confirmed complete destruction of the depots and their contents after the hit of the Russian aviation.
