In the course of the last 24 hours, aircraft of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic have performed 59 combat sorties engaging 212 objects in the Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia, Hama, Homs, Hasakah and Raqqah provinces.
Terrorists continue suffering losses of manpower and military hardware.
Just for the last 24 hours, over 320 militants and 34 pieces of armoured and automobile vehicles of terrorists including 2 tanks, 1 infantry fighting vehicle and 15 SUVs fitted with large-caliber machine guns DShK have been destroyed.
In order to undermine the income sources of terrorists, during the last 24 hours Russian Su-34 bombers have eliminated 94 oil trucks near Deir ez-Zor settlement.
Near Rashidiya-Ghaubia (Hasakah province), during the “free search” performed by a Su-34 bomber, a column of 15 oil trucks transporting oil products in the northern direction from territories controlled by terrorists was detected and destroyed.
In the Aleppo province, a Su-24 bomber made a strike on an ISIS concentration of manpower and military hardware. Objective monitoring data confirmed elimination of not less than 10 militants and 3 automobile vehicles with large-caliber machine guns.
Near Al-Karatein settlement (Homs province), a Su-24M destroyed a hidden base of the ISIS terrorists. A command centre, an ammunition depot and barracks were equipped in the underground shelters. Direct hits of BETAB-500 air bombs destroyed these terrorist facilities with all the contents.
Near Maarat an-Numan (Idlib province), a Su-25 attack aircraft destroyed a large ISIS base. In a separate building, there was an ammunition and materiel depot, as well as a command centre of illegal armed groups.
Data concerning the coordinates of this object had been received by the Russian Defence Ministry from representatives of the Syrian opposition. After the data had been checked by the Information centre in Baghdad and unmanned aerial vehicles conducted additional reconnaissance of the base, a Su-25 attack aircraft eliminated this facility.
After the combat task performance, all the aircraft of the Russian air group have returned to the Hmeymim airbase.
The Russian Defence Ministry constantly faces criticism from several representatives of the so called “anti-ISIS coalition” on the airstrikes against terrorist infrastructures in Syria
In addition, a certain pattern may be discovered: the more precise are the Russian strikes, the more clamor is observed within foreign mass media with references to some anonymous sources which argue indiscriminate Russian air strikes.
The Russian Defence Ministry would like to bring your attention to the fact that the results of the Russian operation are regularly being presented to the public.
Moreover, today Russian army is the only army in the world to show in detail which precision weapons are fired from airplanes and ships against terrorists.
In case of the anti-ISIS coalition, the results of their combat activity are brought to public at best according to words of few official representatives.
No airbase or airstrike footage is disclosed on the strikes, which are made with “surgical accuracy”.
It is to be mentioned that nobody has heard about press-tours of journalists at the anti-ISIS coalition airbases.
As a result, even respectful foreign TV-channels, presumably unintentionally, claim the video of Russian strikes as actions of the anti-ISIS coalition.
The latest case has taken place just recently, when the Euronews TV-channel showed footage of launching Russian cruise missiles from Tu-160 strategic bombers commented by the US Central Command representative as alleged success in anti-ISIS fighting.
Russian Defence Ministry suggests the detractors from the anti-ISIS coalition instead of words concerning “surgical accuracy of strikes”, showing their strikes on the ISIS, just a half of the volume of videos shown by Russia just in the course of three months of operation in Syria.
