Reconnaissance men from the Russian military base in Armenia learn to act in extreme conditions
Reconnaissance units of the Russian military base in Armenia conduct trainings in extreme winter conditions at the high-mountain range Kamkhud.
Servicemen practice different methods of reconnaissance at the altitude of 1,5-2 thousand metres above sea level and under the temperature conditions of -5 – -25 degrees Celsius.
The field training involves more than 300 service members and about 150 items of military hardware.
Particular attention is paid to the new-comers. They are trained to go on ski fully equipped in the mountains.
During the training activities, reconnaissance men will arrange ambushes, outposts as well as will use modern UAV complexes Orlan-10 and Navodchik-2.
The training will finish with tests and exams.
