General information on the application of measures for the reconciliation of opposing sides
Truce agreements have been signed with elders of two inhabited localities of the Hama province. The total number of settlements, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 53.
Preliminary ceasefire joining agreements with two inhabited areas of the Damascus province have been achieved.
In the Damascus province, negotiations with field commanders of three armed formations on joining the ceasefire regime have been held. As a result, one of them has signed the ceasefire agreement.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has reached 44.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
The ceasefire regime has been observed in most provinces. Within last 24 hours, 10 ceasefire violations have been registered (Aleppo, Latakia, Damascus – 3 for each, Idlib – 1).
Mortar shelling against Kurdish militia detachments in Sheikh Maqsood (Aleppo) is continued.
Militants of Ahrar al-Sham grouping, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, performed mortar shelling against positions of the government troops in Kermel, Sandraf and Saraf from Shamruran (Latakia province).
Jaysh al-Islam militants opened fire against living houses in suburbs of Damascus for three times: two times from Zibdin against al-Maliha and al-Sahiyah, and once from al-Rishan against Haush al-Fara village.
In the Idlib province, unidentified armed formations carried out mortar shelling against Fua from Binnish.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Forces did not make strikes on armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Humanitarian aid has been provided to civilians of the Aleppo province for the first time. Citizens of Blat and Kabra, which had been liberated from militants, have received 4.4 tons of food products.
Citizens of 6 inhabited localities of northern Latakia (Beit Shakuhi, Kfariyah, Talla, Beit al-Zikra, Ruaset Beit Shbab, Shufan) have received 4.5 tons of humanitarian aid with food products.
Forward mine-clearing detachment of the International Mine Action Centre of the Russian Armed Forces has arrived at the Hmeymim airbase. The Russian sappers are to clear Palmyra from explosives by request of the Syrian leadership.
Units of the Mine Action Centre are equipped with modern robotic mine-clearing complexes capable to defuse explosive devices of any complexity.
The Syrian government troops supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces continue fighting against ISIS terrorists in regions close to Palmyra and al-Qaryatayn.
