The reconnaissance units used modern laser rangers and night sights in order to accomplish difficult tasks.
The reconnaissancemen were not detected by forward units of the simulated enemy, which had been imitated by motorized rifle units. The servicemen have captured command-and-staff vehicle and eliminated several armored vehicles of the simulated enemy.
Five reconnaissance groups staffed with 12 men were involved in the special tactic exercise.
The special attention was paid to improving skills in using modern armament, including Vintorez sniper rifle as well as technical and special means of reconnaissance.
