General information on the application of measures for the reconciliation of opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, truce agreement with representatives of 1 inhabited area in the Damascus and Homs provinces has been achieved.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 132.
Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition detachments active in the Aleppo, Homs, and al-Quneitra provinces.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 60.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 4 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province.
Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling against positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in Arbil and Harasta, and twice in Jaubar sector of Damascus.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Low-income families in Assan (Aleppo province) have received humanitarian assistance with food products, sour, and sweets for children.
Aircraft of the Abakan Air Russian aviation company have dropped 33.5 tons of UN humanitarian cargos (food products, grains) on Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists.
Groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization continue performing provocative actions aimed at breaking the ceasefire down. Within last 24 hours, shelling with improvised artillery and mortars has been performed against Sheikh Maqsood, al-Muhafaza, al-Zagra sectors of Aleppo, al-Nairab airport, and Handrat village.
Terrorists shelled Kinsibba and Nahshebba (Latakia province), Fuah and Kafr Khayah (Idlib province), Hammamiyat and al-Zaki (Hama province), Tesnin and Tumin (Homs province), Marj al-Sultan (Damascus province).
In the Homs province, units of the Syrian Armed Forces prevented offensive of militants near Narb Nafsa.
In the north-east of the Latakia province, terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra have shelled positions of the government troops near Iqqo, Ard al-Wata, Zaitunjik. They also attacked positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in direction to Saraf and Kinsibba for two times.
As a result of one of such attacks, terrorists managed to capture Kara Jagez and Hashkhasha after performing massive artillery shelling with MLRS and mortars supported by armored vehicles and automobiles with large-caliber machine guns.
More than 200 terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization have illegally passed Syrian-Turkey border near Beisun and attacked positions of the Syrian Armed Forces.
Near Binnish (Idlib province), significant concentration of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists (about 1,000 men) is observed. Terrorist formations are armed with automobiles with large-caliber machine guns and up to 25 air defence systems. According to civilians, terrorists are taking away food products and are moving to the region of Khan Tuman (Aleppo province).
According to citizens of Mareaa (Aleppo province) and nearest regions, militants of the Syrian Free Army are moving through checkpoints and regions controlled by ISIS terrorist formations.
This information confirms contacts between armed formation commanders of ISIS and Free Syrian Army in order to suppress offensive of Kurds against this inhabited area.
Aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces have eliminated four objects of illegal oil producing located to the north-west from Raqqah and controlled by ISIS terrorists.
