Reconciliation of the opposing sides
Within last 24 hours, a truce agreement with representatives of one inhabited area in the Homs province has been achieved.
The total number of inhabited areas, the leaders of which had signed reconciliation agreements, has reached 140.
Negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have been continued with field commanders of armed opposition detachments active in the Damascus, Homs and Hama provinces.
The number of ceasefire application forms signed with leaders of armed groupings has remained 60.
Results of ceasefire monitoring
The ceasefire has been observed in most provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic. Within last 24 hours, 3 ceasefire violations have been registered in the Damascus province.
Jaysh al-Islam formations, which had claimed to belong to the opposition, have performed mortar shelling of positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in Arbil, Duma and Harasta inhabited areas.
Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Force did not make strikes on opposition armed formations, which follow ceasefire regime and informed the Russian or American Centres for reconciliation about their location.
Humanitarian aid to the population of Syria
Citizens of Deir al-Salib (Hama province) and Rodvania (Aleppo province) inhabited areas have received 3 tons of humanitarian cargos. Food products and flour are the basis of the cargos.
Aircraft of the “Abakan Air” Russian aviation company have dropped 36 tons of UN humanitarian cargos (food products, grains) on Deir ez-Zor, which had been besieged by ISIS terrorists.
“Silence regime” has been established for 72 hours starting from 12 p.m. June 9 in Fuah and Kafr Khaya (Idlib province), Zebedani and Madaya (Damascus province) on the initiative of the Russian party.
Within last 24 hours, groupings of Jabhat al-Nusra international terrorist organization have shelled civilian objects and positions of the Syrian Armed Forces in Fuah (Idlib province), Ard al-Wata, Rasha, Karamanli and Qellaz (Latakia province), al-Ghanto (Homs province), Marj Sultan (Damascus province), near Rasm al-Tahabiya, Tabaret al-Hamra and Rasm Afandi (Hama province), eastern region of al-Manshiya quarter of Daraa.
In the Aleppo province, terrorists continued shelling with mortars and MLRS against Handrat, al-Hamra, Ansar, Brije al-Rih inhabited areas as well as Sheikh Maqsood, Meidan, al-Muhafaza, al-Zagra, Makani al-Duwairi quarters, and al-Nairab airport.
Shellings were nonselective. Shellings were aimed not only at positions of the government troops but also residential areas. As a result of shellings, 54 civilians were killed and 93 ones were wounded.
Armed formations of Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham continued taking efforts aimed at breaking through defensive of the government troops and militia near Sheikh Maqsood quarter of Aleppo as well as Handrat and Halsa inhabited areas.
Near Tell Nsibin (northwest of Aleppo), concentration of armored hardware of terrorist groupings, which had arrived from Haretan, has been registered. Militants have reinforced their positions and shelled positions of the Syrian Armed Forces.
