Pilots of the Russian airbase in Armenia getting ready for large-scale exercise
Pilots of fighter and army aviation of the Erebuni, Russian military airbase in Armenia, started intensive training for the large-scale tactic exercise, which was to take place in the middle of July at the Kamhud and Alagyaz training grounds.
Crews of MiG-29, Mi-24P, and Mi-8T aircraft are performing training flights, practising elements of aerial combat and engaging ground objects of the simulated enemy.
The pilots will also practice avoiding strikes of air defence systems of the simulated enemy. Flights are carried out as in pairs as independently at day- and nighttime in extreme conditions of high-mountainous terrain.
