In 2016, about 130 tactical exercises with combat firing involving air defence units and formations were conducted
In total, in 2016, 129 tactical exercises with combat firing were conducted. Among them 98 – involving the anti-aircraft missile units and formations of the military districts and the Northern Fleet and 31 – involving the airborne units.
More than 15 thousand servicemen took part in the exercises; over 3.5 thousand pieces of armament, military and special hardware were involved.
Over 15 thousand servicemen were involved in trainings, more than 3,5 thousand weapon units, military and special machinery were involved.
During the training, unmanned aerial vehicles were used to create a complex aerial situation and furthermore to provide control over the actions of examined military units and formations.
Moreover, during tactical training with combat shooting modern computer-assisted control systems Barnaul-T were used.
