Russian Defence Ministry official website demonstrates the Arctic Trefoil military base
Russian Defence Ministry official website has launched the interactive project: virtual excursion around the Arctic Trefoil military base, which had been constructed for military servicemen on Alexandra Land in the Franz Josef Archipelago in the Arctic.
Military infrastructure of the Arctic base included numerous special constructions, control centres, storages for special and military hardware, and autonomous energy unit.
Living conditions and everyday life of personnel of the military base are open for the Internet users. The base was built in the interests of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy.
The Arctic Trefoil is completely autonomous base. Optimal location of compartments of the base provides comfort living for up to 150 military servicemen during 1.5 years.
