Operational formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea will receive the Smetlivy guard ship of the Black Sea Fleet
The Smetlivy guard ship of the Black Sea Fleet has started transfer from Sevastopol to the Mediterranean Sea. Earlier, the ship had taken part in the anti-submarine exercise and conducted missile firing against an air target.
The ship is expected to enter the Operational formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea today.
At the moment, there are up to 10 warships and auxiliary vessels of the Black Sea Fleet are operating in the formation, including the Admiral Grigorovich and Admiral Essen newest frigates.
