Military aircraft of Kazakhstan to escort Russian Tu-95MS bombers in Tajikistan during drills
The Su-30SM fighters of the Air Defence Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan will escort the Tu-95MS bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces in course of the CSTO CRRF. Over 60 aircraft will be involved in the exercise.
This was stated by the Commander of the Central MD Colonel General Vladimir Zarudnitsky.
According to Colonel General Vladimir Zarudnitsky, military pilots of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are to perform assigned tasks in the sky of Central Asia.
In total, over 5,000 troops and about 1,500 pieces of military hardware will be involved in the CSTO exercise.
