Russia’s Deputy Defence Minister attends session of Military Technical Committee of CIS Defence Ministers Council
Another session of the Military Technical Committee of the CIS Defence Ministers Council took place in the International Military Centre in Moscow. The session was chaired by Russia’s Defence Minister General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov.
The session was attended by deputies of defence ministers (heads of military departments) from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan as well as chiefs command and control bodies, and scientific and research organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The attendees discussed main tendencies in development of armored armament and military vehicles, prospects for military robotics in the interests of Ground Forces as well as results of the Russia-Belarus CSS special exercise.
The key conclusion was that it is necessary to deepen partnerships and develop military and technical cooperation among defence departments.
