Three-year contract for BMP-3 supplies fulfilled completely
Officers of a military representative office in the city of Kurgan have accepted the latest batch of BMP-3 as part of a three-year contract with the manufacturing enterprise.
BMP-3, unlike its predecessors, received a new chassis, engine, armament system, hydro-mechanical transmission, significantly improved protectability of the crew. The vehicle is able to force water obstacles.
The BMP-3 is armed with a 100-mm 2A70 gun, 30-mm automatic gun, PKT machine gun, fire control system, semi-automatic loading mechanism, sight, including with a night vision function, and armaments stabiliser. The vehicle is capable of destroying lightly armoured vehicles and the enemy's manpower, low-flying air targets.
