Detachment of warships of Pacific Fleet returns from long trip to Vladivostok
Today the detachment of warships of Pacific Fleet, composed of large anti-submarine ships Admiral Tributs, Admiral Vinogradov and the average sea tanker Pechenga under the command of captain 1st rank Oleg Korolev has completed a long-range two-month trip and returned to Vladivostok.
During two months, the Pacific Fleet handled tasks in the Asia-Pacific region and made port calls of Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan.
In Vladivostok, the commander of the Seaside Flotilla of all-arms forces, Rear Admiral Sergei Guha met the detachment of warships. By tradition, crews of the ships received fried pigs for the successful completion of the tasks.
The line formation of the division's servicemen of surface ships of the Pacific Fleet and the political meeting took place on the parade range of the main mooring of the Pacific Fleet.
The ceremony of the meeting of the detachment of ships from a long trip ended with the general passage of the servicemen of the formation.
