Army Scout Masters 2019 to take place in Indian city of Jaisalmer
At the solemn closing ceremony of the Army Scout Masters 2018 international contest, which was held in Novosibirsk, Brigadier General of the Indian Armed Forces Ramankutty Prem Raj said that the next-year army games among scouts will be held in the Indian city of Jaisalmer.
After awarding winners and runners-up, the Russian side handed the flag of the International Army Games and the cup with their symbols to the Indian side. "A true scout must be flexible, able to adapt to any climatic conditions. Scouts have to be ready to perform tasks in desert areas," Ramankutty Prem Raj said. The innovation of the Army Games in India is that they are to be held by day and at night.
International scout competitions were held for four years at the Koltsovo training ground in Novosibirsk Region. Invariably, the Russian Federation servicemen have always been, as well as in this year, winners of the contest.
The Army Scout Masters 2018 international contest involved the teams from Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Sudan, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe and Belarus.
