Seaborne Assault contest team relay races begin in Kaliningrad region
Today, the final stage of the all-army stage of Seaborne Assault 2019 contest was held at the Khmelevka training ground of the Baltic Fleet.
More than 200 servicemen of the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea and Pacific fleets, the Caspian flotilla, as well as cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School and the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School started the third stage of the competition - the relay race. After this stage that the winner of the all-army competition will be determined.
Under the terms of the competition in the relay race teams participate in full. The participants will have to pass the route with various obstacles 10 kilometers in length on the combat vehicles, practice standards in shooting from small arms and grenade launchers, arming combat vehicles, bombarding the enemy with grenades, and swim 600 meters in the Baltic Sea.
On Sunday, a solemn closing ceremony and awarding of winners will take place at the training ground.
After that, they will represent Russia at an international competition in the framework of International Army Games 2019.
