Road Patrol all-army competition kicks off in Moscow region
The Road Patrol all-army competition has kicked off within the International Army Games 2019 at the Noginsky training ground, Moscow region, on June 12.
Along with the teams of the military districts, the Northern Fleet, the teams of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Rosgvardiya and the special services compete in the contest. This year there are some new competitions added to the programme: "competition of captains" and "emergency reversal braking", as the head of the Main Directorate of Military Police of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General Vladimir Ivanovsky said.
The participants competed in extreme driving including a bootlegger reverse, driving in limited areas and high-speed S-turn.
Winners and runner-ups of the all-army stage will represent the Russian Armed Forces which is to take place in Iran for the first time.
