Sevastopol Bay gets ready for Army 2019 International Military and Technical Forum
Warships and vessels of the Russian Navy are training in the Sevastopol Bay as part of preparations for the ARMY 2019 International Military and Technical Forum.
During the training sessions, the Black Sea Fleet ships will practise single and joint actions when performing various combat exercises.
In total, the crews will present nine episodes within the Forum, including a demonstration of the combat capabilities of the fleet's mine-sweeping forces, operation of a submarine, a demonstration of the combat capabilities of the Project 11356 frigate and other episodes.
In addition to the ship's forces, the coastal forces of the fleet also conduct training.
The ARMY 2019 International Military and Technical Forum will be held in the city of Sevastopol from 28 to 30 June 2019 on the territory of the branches of the Patriot park. The International Military and Technical Forum will be also held in Kerch and Novorossiysk.
In total, about 100 pieces of modern weapons and military equipment of the Black Sea Fleet and the Southern Military District, including the Bastion and Ball coastal missile systems, BTR-82A armoured personnel carriers, Monolith and Mineral mobile coastal and airborne reconnaissance systems, will be presented at the static exhibition sites as well as launchers of the S-400 air defence complex, the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile complex, Grad-M multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, Typhoon vehicles, Rys and Tigr armored vehicles, electronic warfare and RChB Defence equipment.
