Sea Cup 2019 participants fire at air targets
In the framework of Sea Cup 2019 international competition among crews of surface ships, the teams of the participating countries completed the next stage of the competition - Shooting at air target.
At this stage, participants had to hit air target located at a distance of 500 meters, which was simulated by a helium aerostat, spending no more than 60 ammunition and the shortest possible time.
According to the results of this exercise, the crew of Makhachkala small artillery ship showed the best result in time, but lost to colleagues from Azerbaijan in accuracy.
Currently, according to the results of the stages passed, the team of the Republic of Azerbaijan leads, the sailors from Russia are in second place, and the teams of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran occupy the third and fourth places.
Sea Cup 2019 international competition is held at the military naval base of the Republic of Azerbaijan from August 5 to 15. The competition will bring together teams of four navies: the Russian Navy will provide a small artillery ship Mahachkala, the Caspian Flotilla, the Kazakh Navy – rocket artillery ship Mangistau, the Azerbaijani Navy – patrol ship G-124, and the Iranian Navy – missile boat Paykan.
