Russian Deputy Defence Minister inspects state defence order at RusBITech enterprise
Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Commander-in-Chief of the Land Forces General of the Army Oleg Salyukov inspected the implementation of the state defence order by RusBITech. The enterprise is fulfilling a contract for the supply of modular field mobile command posts for Land Forces.
According to Kamo Arushanov, the production manager of the company, 76 sets of automated mobile units APE-5 and APE-3 were delivered to the troops under a contract from 2018, and 18 sets are in production. The order must be completed by November 10.
Yunus-Bek Evkurov set the task to develop a set of equipment for battalion command posts based on armored personnel carriers. General of the Army Oleg Salyukov invited the RusBITech leadership to consider the possibility of this work directly in the troops.
They are intended for work and rest of military personnel at the advanced field mobile command posts of command and control of Land Forces. APE-5 has 9–11 working places, APE-3 has four working places and six places for rest. All workplaces are united in a single closed information network. The brigade kit consists of five modules of two types.
In 2019, eight units of the Western and Southern military districts received a total of 64 sets of APE-5 and APE-3. This year, 46 sets will enter seven formations of two districts.
