International counter-terrorist exercise of ASEAN countries and their dialogue partners with the participation of the Eastern MD ends in China
In the People's Republic of China, the international counter-terrorist exercise of ASEAN countries and their dialogue partners with the participation of a group of military personnel of the Eastern Military District has ended.
During the active phase of the exercise, the Eastern MD special forces unit, together with groups formed from military personnel of the countries participating in the exercise, carried out preliminary reconnaissance of the area occupied by mock militants using UAVs, opened communication channels for mock terrorists, and conducted a field reconnaissance of the assault targets.
About 40 servicemen were involved from the Eastern Military District to participate in the exercise, these are officers to work at the multinational command posts and military personnel of special forces.
Their Chinese colleagues demonstrated tactical movements in the streets, overcoming doors and windows, crossing stairs and corridors, and using vehicles to a group of military men of the special forces unit of the Eastern Military District and other participants in the exercise. Further, the Eastern MD special forces took part in training to capture the car and rescue mock hostages.
Snipers of Eastern MD special forces unit practiced targeting, monitoring and sniper fire.
A demonstration of methods medical care and evacuation of injured were also conducted.
