The "Admiral Vladimirsky", an oceanographic research vessel of the Baltic fleet, left the port of Rio de Janeiro and continued on the route of the round-the-world expedition, under the patronage of the Russian Navy's Main command. It is planned that the next point of call will be the capital of Uruguay, the port of Montevideo.
During the four-day visit to Rio de Janeiro, the crew rested after a difficult ocean crossing, replenished water, fuel and food supplies. Vladimir Tokmakov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Rio de Janeiro, paid an official visit on Board the oceanographic ship.
