Scouts of the Southern Military District near Volgograd received the latest radio station "Namotka-KS"
Servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the Southern Military District's motorized rifle unit, stationed in the Volgograd region, received a new generation of radio stations called "Namotka-KS".
Portable radio stations are designed to provide military personnel with simplex two-way telephone, telegraph and digital communications. The radio station can be controlled from the remote control at a distance of up to 100 m in medium-terrain conditions. The complex also allows you to conduct communication sessions at a predetermined time in automatic mode.
"Namotka-KS" provides radio communication at temperatures from minus 40 to plus 50 degrees Celsius and at low atmospheric pressure.
The new radio station significantly exceeds the previous models in terms of such important indicators as the duration of operation in active mode, as well as the weight, which has decreased to three kilograms.
The familiarization of a new generation radio station will begin in February during field training when performing combat training tasks at the Prudboy training ground.
