Navy minesweeper "Valentin Pikul" of the Black Sea Fleet conducted artillery fire in the sea

The crew of the "Valentin Pikul" minesweeper of the Black Sea Fleet passes the elements of the course task, practicing the tactics of conducting combat operations with a single ship.

As part of the planned combat training activities, the crew performed a set of artillery firings on sea and air targets.

The minesweeper's artillery crews hit naval targets that mimic an enemy ship and a floating sea mine, and then worked out actions to repel an air attack.

The next stage of the crew's combat training will be a drill for conducting trawls with forcing a mock minefield in one of the sea training grounds in the Back sea area.
