Commander-in-Chief of the Navy launched the Sea Cup 2020 competition
In accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, on Monday, June 29, the All-Russian stage of the Sea Cup competition starts.
Sea Cup is a competition for marine training among crews of surface ships. It has been held as part of the International Army Games since 2015.
Taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological requirements, the All-Russian stage of the competition this year is carried out remotely. The crews of the warships of the Northern, Pacific, Black Sea fleets and the Caspian flotilla will receive tasks remotely, based on which the participants will be evaluated both by theoretical knowledge and practical preparedness.
Sailors will demonstrate their skills in managing naval tactical groups, surface ships and submarines, compete in the use of full-time ship armaments, as well as damage control.
Organize and coordinate the implementation of the tasks of the Sea Cup will be the Directorate of Combat Training of the Russian Navy and the Military Training and Scientific Centre of the Navy.
