The Russian Centre of the West Bohemian University in Pilsen hosted a presentation of the "Catalog of Russian (Soviet) military graves on the territory of the Czech Republic"

The representative office of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation for the organization and conduct of military memorial work at the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic, in close cooperation and with the financial participation of the Pilsen Region administration, has published a catalog of Russian military graves.

As a result of joint archival research, it was possible to establish information about 24 previously unaccounted military graves, establish 45 new names and clarify additional personal data for 61 people.

At the moment, thanks to the cataloging carried out on the territory of the region, 83 Russian graves of the Second World War period have been identified and registered, in which the remains of 265 soldiers are buried.
