Russian military medics continue to provide assistance in the fight against coronavirus in a hospital in Bishkek
Russian military doctors, who had previously arrived from the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan to assist in the fight against coronavirus infection, continue to assist local doctors in treating citizens of the republic.
The specialists arrived by the Il-76 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Chkalovsky airfield (Moscow region) to the airfield of the Russian military base Kant, structurally part of the 14th Army of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Central Military District, a week ago. In total, 19 military medics flew into the country with special medical equipment: lung ventilation devices, medicines and personal protective equipment. An agreement on the provision of assistance was reached between the presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
Since July 22, 12 patients have been discharged from the military hospital in Bishkek, over 100 citizens have been examined.
