Best scouts from 10 countries took part in the opening ceremony of the International Army Games in Novosibirsk
On August 23, on the territory of the educational complex of the Novosibirsk High Military Command School (Koltsovo training ground), the opening ceremony of the Army Scout Masters International Competition took place.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the governor of the Novosibirsk region and representatives of the mayor's office of Novosibirsk city, as well as guests and participants of the competition.
The heads of delegations and captains of the teams participating in the competition spoke to the guests and presented their teams. The strongest teams from Russia, China, South Ossetia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Laos, Congo, South Africa and Afghanistan take part in Army Scout Masters competition.
"Holding such competitions has become a wonderful tradition, which allows you to build a constructive dialogue between the military departments of different countries, strengthen trust and partnership between states and make friends," said the chief of intelligence - deputy chief of the General Staff of the Russian Land Forces for intelligence, chief judge of the competition, Major General Alexei Belousov.
For the guests of the event, cadets of the Novosibirsk High Military Command School organized a demonstration performance, where they demonstrated hand-to-hand combat techniques, skills in small arms and melee weapons and a high level of physical fitness.
The solemn ceremony ended with the concert program "From Russia with Love".
The international stage of Army Scout Masters competition will be held from August 23 to September 5 on the territory of the Novosibirsk High Military Command School - one of the leading military educational institutions of the country, which currently trains commanders of reconnaissance and motorized rifle units for all types and branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as other departments.
