Russian Su-30 fighter crews escorted three US Air Force B-52N strategic bombers over the Black sea
On September 14, 2020, three air targets approaching from Ukraine to the state border of the Russian Federation were detected by radar reconnaissance equipment of the Southern Military District duty forces for air defense (AD) over the Black sea.
To identify detected air targets and prevent violations of the state border of the Russian Federation, two Su-27 and two Su-30 fighter jets from the air defense duty forces of the Southern Military District were lifted into the air
Russian fighter crews identified the air targets as three B-52N strategic bombers of the US Air Force and escorted them over the Black sea.
After the removal of American aircraft from the state border of the Russian Federation, Russian fighters returned to their home airfields.
All flights of Russian fighters were carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
Violations of the state border of the Russian Federation by American strategic bombers were not allowed.
