CSTO peacekeepers are practicing in Belarus the first stage of preparation for a joint operation as part of an exercise
Today in the Republic of Belarus at the Losvido training ground, participants in the command-post exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces Unbreakable Brotherhood 2020 have prepared for a joint operation.
The stage began with the presentation of a UN mandate to the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Force Commander, Colonel Dmitry Sobol, to conduct a peacekeeping operation.
The collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, which include servicemen and equipment from the Central Military District of Russia, are practicing escorting convoys with humanitarian supplies, protecting and countering an attack.
