The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, while fulfilling the conditions of the trilateral agreement during the transfer of the Kelbajar region, ensured the safety of the civilian population and the organized transfer of the region.

Since 00.00 of the 25th of November, in accordance with the tripartite declaration of the President of the Russian Federation, the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the prime minister of the Republic of Armenia, the transfer of Kalbajar District to the Azerbaijani control has started under the supervision of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
