The Russian peacekeepers provide the security of the return of the citizens to their places of permanent residence, the humanitarian aid, the restoration of civil infrastructure facilities.
During combat training activities, peacekeepers improve their skills in the protection and defenсe of observation posts, and work out actions when repelling an attack on observation posts.
The observation posts of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh are equipped with checkpoint fortifications designed to protect military personnel from small arms and shrapnel, as well as to conduct a circular observation of the nearby territory.
To achieve these goals, the contours of the checkpoint are equipped with bulk gabions of the GNT-2 and GNT-3 types. This design provides full protection of the Russian peacekeeping contingent of this checkpoint from small arms and shrapnel.
Also, the infrastructure of the posts includes comfortable residential modules for the accommodation of personnel, a block module for cooking and eating, as well as a transport and technological block module equipped with units for supplying constant electricity.
All modules are equipped with the necessary household equipment, dishes, electrical appliances and heating and air conditioning systems.
In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, a complete ceasefire and all military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh were declared from 00: 00 Moscow time on November 10.
