Army Scout Masters district contest completed in Eastern MD

Within the framework of the International Army Games ARMY 2021, the district stage of the Army Scout Masters competition was held on the basis of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District.

For a week, the strongest teams from all over the Eastern Military District at the Sergeevsky training ground (Primorsky Territory) competed for the title of the best reconnaissance unit.

During the practical part of the competition, its participants made a landing and, in harsh climatic conditions, made a multi-kilometer march for a while with movement in azimuths and passing key points. Passed a special obstacle course - Scout's Path, which includes about 20 obstacles.

The competition program also includes a competition for driver mechanics, where the best specialist in operating an infantry fighting vehicle BMP-2 was determined. At the stage of fire training, the scouts performed firing exercises with standard weapons in a single order, and as part of a squad.

The obstacles are quite complex and require the personnel of the recon departments to have excellent physical fitness and teamwork.

This year, for the first time, army hand-to-hand combat was included in the competition program.
