The frigate of the Black Sea Fleet Admiral Essen conducted artillery fire at the coastal targets
The frigate of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) Admiral Essen conducted the preparatory and record firing at the coastal targets located on the interspecific training ground Opuk in the Crimean peninsula.
The firing at coastal targets was conducted as a control check up of the BSF forces for the winter training period.
During the first stage of the firing the artillery crew of the frigate practiced the algorithm of the combat training exercise.
At the second stage of the training, the gunners performed preparatory firing from A-190 artillery system at coastal targets.
In framework of the artillery firing the personnel successfully hit the visible targets and invisible targets with the help of navigation data and axillary aiming point.
The next stage of the check up will be the Admiral Essen crew actions coordination in the joint exercise with the BSF air defence fighters on repelling the air strike of the mock enemy.
