The Russian peacekeeping forces continue their operation in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
At twenty-seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and monitoring compliance with the ceasefire regime.
The ceasefire is observed along the entire contact line.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent ensures the safe return of citizens to their places of permanent residence, provides humanitarian assistance and restores civilian infrastructure.
During the day, 146 refugees were safely returned from the territory of Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh. A total of 48,840 people have returned to their former places of residence in Nagorno-Karabakh since November 14, 2020.
Two columns of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were escorted along the route Shusha-Krasny Bazaar-Qajar and back.
Military personnel of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to work on demining the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. 37.6 hectares of territory were cleared, 689 explosive objects were found and removed for destruction. In total, 517.8 hectares of territory, 197.8 km of roads, 750 houses, including 24 socially significant objects, were cleared of unexploded ordnance in Nagorno-Karabakh (since November 23, 2020), 23,404 explosive objects were found and neutralized.
The Russian contingent of peacekeeping forces, in cooperation with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the EMERCOM of Nagorno-Karabakh, continues to search for and transfer the bodies of those killed during the hostilities.
The "hotline" for collecting information about the participants of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, missing, since the beginning of its work, received 575 appeals. All appeals were forwarded to the search groups of the Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides.
The Russian visiting medical team in the settlement of Tblgu (44 km north-west of Stepanakert) provided outpatient care to 20 local residents, including 2 children. In total, Russian military medics provided assistance to 1,238 residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including 157 children.
To coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
