The Russian contingent of the peacekeeping forces continues to perform tasks on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
At twenty-seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and monitoring compliance with the ceasefire regime.
The ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact.
The Russian peacekeepers provide the security of the return of the citizens to their places of permanent residence, the humanitarian aid, the restoration of civil infrastructure facilities.
34 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh from the territory of Armenia during the day. A total of 52,631 people have returned to their former places of residence in Nagorno-Karabakh since November 14, 2020.
Engineering and sapper groups of the Center for Humanitarian Demining continue to work on the clearance of the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. During the day, 15 hectares of territory and 5 km of roads, 21 housing structures were cleared, 159 explosive objects were found and removed for destruction. In total, since November 23, 2020, 1,419 hectares of territory, 443 km of roads, 1,361 housing structures, including 29 socially significant objects, have been cleared of unexploded ordnance, 24,453 explosive objects have been found and neutralized.
The Russian peacekeepers ensured the safe passage of six automobile convoys of the Azerbaijani armed forces through the Lachin corridor: four through the Lachin corridor in the northern direction and back, as well as along two routes Qardjar - Lrasnyi Bazar - Shusha and back.
In order to coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
