Flight crews of the antisubmarine aviation have carried out training air strikes
The flight crews of the Northern Fleet naval aviation Il-38 antisubmarine aircraft exercised submarine detection training over the Barents Sea and White Sea. They also performed air strikes at land targets using service ammunition.
The naval airmen also performed torpedo launching and aerial mine-laying.
At the same time crews of Ka-27 antisubmarine helicopters executed missions of tracking submarines at the ranges of Barents Sea using hydroacoustic means of detection within 6 training flights.
The combat trainings involved over 800 servicemen including 12 air crews of antisubmarine aviation.
