The stage of operational transfer of the combined detachment of the Russian Defence Ministry to the Severo-Yeniseysky District is being completed
The stage of the operational transfer of combined detachment and special equipment of the Ministry of Defence of Russia in the Severo-Yeniseysky District of the Krasnoyarsk territory to assist in combating the spread of coronavirus infection is being completed.
The transfer of units is done by combined method: military transport aircraft by air, rail, and on their own in challenging off-road conditions to area perform tasks. The unit consists of mobile disinfection crews, signals, medical and sanitary-epidemic control teams, specialists from the field hospital, support units and NBC protection units.
To coordinate the actions of military and special units in the Krasnoyarsk territory, an operational group of the Central Military District headquarters has been created.
After the arrival and deployment of forces and means in the area of settlement Eruda of the Severo-Yeniseysky District of Krasnoyarsk territory, the combined unit of the Russian Defense Ministry will begin practical implementation of the tasks on carrying out a complex of disinfection, medical-diagnostic and anti-epidemic measures in order to localize the outbreak of coronavirus infection and prevent its spread.
The personnel of the combined detachment of the Russian Defence Ministry are provided with personal protective equipment and have special training for actions in a complex epidemiological situation.
In accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and on behalf of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu was formed a detachment of the Russian Defence Ministry to assist in preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the Severo-Yeniseisky District of Krasnoyarsk territory.
In total, more than 400 military personnel, including 77 doctors and junior medical specialists, and about 100 units of special military equipment have been involved in carrying out tasks in the Severo-Yeniseysky District of the Krasnoyarsk territory.
