Su-34 aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters of the Central Military District flew to Ryazan to participate in the "Aviadarts-2020" competition
Four Su-34 generation 4++ multi-functional fighter-bombers and three Mi-8 AMTSh-V "Terminator" transport and attack helicopters of the Central Military District have been relocated to Ryazan to participate in the "Aviadarts-2020" flight skills competition of the Army international games.
During the competition, the best crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers and Mi-8 helicopters will perform tasks of aerial visual reconnaissance and overcoming the air defense system of a mock enemy, piloting techniques with the implementation of a complex of aerobatic figures singly and as part of a pair, as well as conduct missile launches, bombing and firing guns at ground targets.
Aircraft and helicopter crews covered a distance of almost 2000 kilometers. On the way, the helicopters performed two refueling operations at military airfields stationed in the Chelyabinsk and Samara regions.
