In the Primorsky Territory, the air regiment of the air defence and air force army of the Eastern Military District conducted training flights with the development of tactical schemes for conducting air combat against the airplanes of a mock enemy.
Pilots on fighter jets in the air performed a set of various elements of combat training.
Particular attention was paid to piloting aircraft using offensive and defensive maneuvers at different ranges of altitudes and speeds.
In the course of fulfilling the assigned tasks, the pilots on the Su-35S aircraft alternately conducted training in search, detection and destruction of aircraft. The MiG-31BM high-altitude interceptor fighters played the role of the mock enemy.
The elements of maneuvering were practiced with large roll angles, air battles were carried out at the limiting parameters of the aiming complexes.
