Pacific Fleet and the Air Force practicing combat interaction
Beginning from the 23rd of March tactical training under the direction of Deputy Air Force Commander General-Major Andrey Holzakov held with the separate air-assault brigade is being carried out.
The brigade units were set on the full combat alert and marched to the concentration area in due time.
During the training the servicemen are practicing lifting into the target by air, vehicles and railways.
The separate air-assault brigade the servicemen for the first time will embark the Pacific Fleet large landing ship and then will land onto the unimproved shore to seize the beachhead
On the 26th of March more than 300 parachute jumpers will be air-dropped at the Sergeyevskiy training ground. They are supposed to disrupt the imaginary enemy’s defence, attack him at the same time from the sea and the shore and organize defence formations of the seized shore area.
During the training final stage the servicemen will proceed to organic weapon firing under the most realistic conditions.
2500 servicemen, more than 500 armament and combat equipment pieces, 1 combat ship and 7 transportation aircraft are involved in the training.
