The experience of local armed conflicts is being actively implemented in the airborne troops stationed in Buryatia
The 11th separate guards airborne assault brigade, stationed in Buryatia, actively implements the experience of local armed conflicts during practical training at the Sosnovy Bor training ground.
The commander of the unit, Colonel Denis Shishov, reported to the Deputy Minister of Defence of Russia, Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, about the features of combat training of soldiers of the rifle company of snipers in one of the four training programs, as well as their retraining during the service in order to improve their skills.
As a result of successful completion of standards, military personnel with the highest level of training receive the qualification "sniper instructor" and periodically confirm it during their service.
"In the future, next year the brigade should have a company of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles and a company of electronic warfare. All military personnel will be contractors," the commander of the unit reported.
In addition, servicemen of assault brigade has carried out practical shooting with small arms at small-size air targets, and weapons combat vehicles and hand-held antitank grenade launchers at the high-speed targets.
The Deputy head of the military department during the review of practical training sessions on combat training at the training ground evaluated the effectiveness of the training methods used, including high-intensity fire training sessions, and gave instructions on the modernization of the brigade's training and material base.
The personnel of the unit demonstrated confident skills and training during practical training in army tactical shooting, which is actively implemented as one of the main elements of combat training of troops.
In addition, the Deputy Defence Minister checked the state of the barracks and training and material base of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade in Kyakhta (Buryatia), and at the location of the 36th army in Ulan-Ude, he got acquainted with modern training complexes for fire training.
Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was shown the capabilities of the interactive laser shooting range "Rubin" ILT-110, which improves the skills of special forces units. Shooting at targets on a huge screen is carried out using lasers mounted on small arms. The feeling of being in a real battle is achieved with a realistic simulation of the shot.
The shooting range allows to test the skills of recruits before entering the combat shooting range and save ammunition.
