Airborne Troops deployed a command post for a planned command post training with the command of the CSTO Collective Forces of Rapid Reaction
As part of the command post training with the command of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CFRR) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which is being held for the first time in the Moscow region, the Airborne Troops deployed a command post of the CFRR.
Its goal is to test the functioning of the CSTO CFRR on the basis of automation and control equipment of the Airborne Troops.
Servicemen from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat are taking part in the command post training.
In the period from November 11 to 12, 2020, a command post training session with the Command of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force of the CSTO is taking place on the territory of the Russian Federation. The training is conducted under the eadership of Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
The CSTO Collective Forces of Rapid Reaction were formed on the basis of the Decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council of February 4, 2009 and are designed to promptly respond to challenges and threats to the security of the CSTO member states.
