The best flamethrower unit was determined during the qualifying stage of the White Sun competition in the Ulyanovsk airborne formation
In the Ulyanovsk separate guards airborne unit, during the qualifying stage of the White Sun competition, the best flamethrower squad was determined.
As part of the practical part of the competition, the crews of the flamethrower squad competed in combat shooting from 93-mm rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers RPO-A Shmel.
The fire was conducted with thermobaric ammunition at a distance of up to 300 meters on armored targets and targets-shelters that mimic long-term firing points and sniper positions of the enemy.
