At the stage of the airborne troops competition of military professional skills Warrior of Peace-2021, participants competed in orienteering
On the third day of the Warrior of Peace military professional skill contest, held from March 22 to 28 at the base of the Tula guards airborne unit, within the framework of the Professional military professional stage, participants determined the best in orienteering.
In accordance with the competition regulations, the participants covered a distance of 5 km in the forest on foot with a map of 1:10000 and passed a set number of control points in a certain order.
The winner was determined based on the time shown and the penalty seconds added for violating the passage of control points.
The best orienteering skills will be determined as part of the overall results of the Professional competition.
In the future, competitions will continue at the Professional stage, as well as Cavalier (Madam).
In total, more than 40 military personnel representing all formations, military units and institutions of the airborne troops take part in the competition.
