Safe Route and Engineering Formula qualifying competitions underway in the Southern Military District
The first stage of the Safe Route and Engineering Formula competitions have completed at the Borodinovsky training ground in Rostov region, Southern Military District.
Military engineers acted as a detachment to ensure the unimpeded movement of tank units during the Safe Route contest.
Teams ensured the passage of the column through the 1-km race track equipped with 1km race track: a ford 1m deep, a minefield, an anti-tank ditch 6m wide, a destroyed section of the road, a blockage of burning logs.
The Engineering Formula contest program included a relay race where each team performed as part of crews to complete engineering tasks. The relay was made up of stages on a section with a carriageway 16m wide and 4,000m long.
Each crew crossed one lap of the route with a stop at a pit stop, where they performed a special task typical for the model of military equipment.
