Eastern MD special forces exploring international methods of fighting international terrorism
Eastern MD servicemen of special forces formation in Khabarovsk region explore international methods of fighting international terrorism in preparation for participating in the anti-terrorism exercise of ASEAN countries and their partners.
For better training, the military personnel has already begun to practice new tactical techniques at a specialized training ground and at a permanent deployment centre.
Servicemen are improving their skills in conducting sniper shooting, coordinated actions in the group when approaching and penetrating into captured buildings, and providing medical assistance to mock injured.
Also, military personnel master their skills in using visual observation equipment when determining coordinates for guiding aircraft and landing on ropes, in particular, on the roof of a building.
Already in early November, Russian troops will leave for the People’s Republic of China.
After arriving in the territory of the PRC with the participants of the exercise, a number of special trainings are planned, for example, on conducting actions in urban conditions.
So, the military personnel together with foreign colleagues will work on the streets, moving inside buildings, including when mock terrorists use toxic substances.
The active phase of the exercise is scheduled to be held in the second half of November.
Eastern Military District servicemen will participate in the exercise, these are officers to work at the multinational control centres and military personnel of special forces.
